KARACHI: Songkran is the Thai New Year’s festival and its celebrations are rich with symbolic traditions. Royal Thai Consulate General in Karachi celebrated Songkran Festival at the residence of His Excellency Suwat Kaewsook, Consul General Thai Royal Consulate General Karachi. The Thai community in Karachi was also invited to celebrate the festival with great enthusiasm at Royal Thai Consulate, Karachi.
Upon arrival H.E. Suwat Kaewsook, Consul General Thai Royal Consulate General Karachi, warmly welcomed all guests.
The charm of day was a large variety of Thai food, desserts and fruits for the guests, which everyone enjoyed.
As usual, Mr. Arif Suleman, President Pak-Thai Friendship Association & Business Forum actively participated in this event also at Royal Thai Consulate. He wished Happy Songkran to Mr. & Mrs. Suwat Kaewsook by presenting them flower bouquet on behalf of Pak-Thai Friendship Association & Business Forum. The other executive members of Pak-Thai Friendship Association & Business Forum were also present on the occasion and participation in the event.
The consul General thanked all the respected guests and His Excellency appreciated Pak-Thai Friendship Association & Business Forum members for their wholehearted participation in 14th My Karachi exhibition recently held in Karachi.
