Message From 🇵🇰

Mr. Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan
The National Coordinator On Tourism To The Prime Minister
Government Of Pakistan

I extend my sincere congratulations on the commencement of the 5th Edition of Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM) 2026, a significant national initiative that continues to reinforce Pakistan’s commitment to advancing its tourism agenda.

Pakistan Travel Mart has emerged as an essential convening forum that facilitates policy dialogue, institutional coordination, and international engagement within the tourism sector. Its ability to connect public institutions with private enterprises and global stakeholders makes it a valuable instrument for shaping a more integrated and forward-looking tourism ecosystem in Pakistan.

The steady evolution of PTM reflects the growing maturity of Pakistan’s tourism framework. It has contributed to strengthening stakeholder linkages, encouraging structured investments, and promoting a cohesive national narrative that highlights Pakistan’s tourism potential in a credible and impactful manner.

From a policy perspective, such platforms are critical in ensuring alignment between federal and provincial priorities, enhancing governance mechanisms, and promoting sustainable and responsible tourism practices. PTM complements the government’s broader objective of institutionalizing tourism as a key pillar of economic development and international outreach.

As we mark this important edition, I am confident that PTM 2026 will further deepen collaboration, enable knowledge exchange, and support the development of a resilient and competitive tourism sector.

I appreciate the efforts of all stakeholders involved in organizing this event and extend my best wishes for its continued success.
