Message From 🇵🇰

Mr. Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani
The Secretary, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC)
Government Of Pakistan

It is a matter of great pleasure to extend my sincere felicitations on the inauguration of the 5th Edition of Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM) 2026 — an important milestone in Pakistan’s journey towards strengthening and promoting its tourism sector.

Pakistan Travel Mart has emerged as a significant platform for fostering collaboration among federal and provincial stakeholders, as well as international partners. By convening key actors from across the tourism value chain, PTM enables constructive engagement, knowledge exchange, and the development of strategic partnerships essential for sectoral growth.

The role of PTM in promoting Pakistan’s diverse tourism assets — from its natural landscapes and cultural heritage to its hospitality potential — is highly commendable. It has contributed to enhancing Pakistan’s visibility on the global tourism map and creating new opportunities for investment and economic development.

The Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination recognizes tourism as a cross-cutting sector that requires strong coordination between the federation and provinces. Platforms like PTM are vital in ensuring policy coherence, harmonization of standards, and integrated efforts for sustainable tourism development across the country.

I appreciate the efforts of the organizers in successfully hosting this flagship event and bringing together a wide spectrum of stakeholders under one roof. I am confident that PTM 2026 will further strengthen inter-provincial linkages, promote best practices, and support the continued growth of Pakistan’s tourism industry.

Let us continue to work collaboratively to harness the full potential of tourism as a catalyst for national development and international engagement.

Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani
Secretary
Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC)
