KARACHI: Asia live Restaurant of Avari Towers is known for its’ diversified and extensive menu. They have an array of varieties of food but Thursday nights are all about Italian cuisine.

Starting off with the appetisers, there’s a wide range of freshly baked bread, salmon on toast, an enormous salad bar which offers a variety of flavors and textures. Alongside the appetizers were cheese platters, consisting of a large variety of different types of cheese which put the customers cheese cravings to rest.
Minestrone soup was something extraordinary, the slightly tangy flavor with multicolored bell peppers and macaroni played an interesting game with the taste buds.
There was a live pasta station and the fettuccine Alfredo was enjoyed thoroughly by all.
The pizzas were irresistible and the quality of cheese was unmatchable. Each dish had a distinct taste, lasagne was baked to perfection with loads of cheese melting away from the very first bite. There was a great balance of tomato sauce and white sauce in it which is the key to a great lasagne.
Chicken was made in an unusual thyme sauce which was quite a treat and lastly, the spinach filled ravioli alla panna was served hot, just the way it should be.
To end it all it was delighting to see a mouthe watering variety of desserts which included lemon mousse, banana cheesecake, tiramisu and egg pudding.
It’s hard to find just unique and original Italian flavors and dishes, but the buffet did the justice to all, the guests seemed to enjoy everything from ambiance to the flavors and variety of Italian Food.
