LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has constituted a committee to work out restructuring, reformation and revival of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). He was chairing a meeting to discuss the matters pertaining to the PIA, according to the PM Office. The committee, headed by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, would present its proposals and recommendations to the federal cabinet after Eidul Azha. MUSCAT: Oman Air has announced the expansion of its flight services to Bahrain and Doha, offering passengers increased convenience and flexibility. ISLAMABAD: In a bid to facilitate passengers travelling between Islamabad and Beijing, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has further reduced fares with a free baggage allowance for Islamabad-Beijing flights from August 6. Last month, PIA announced around 30% reduction in the fare for the Islamabad-Beijing route.
