DOHA: Starting January 27, Qatar Airways and Malaysia Airlines will expand their codeshare cooperation, which will see both airlines getting access to new destinations. The airlines’ current codeshare cooperation already allows Malaysia Airlines’ passengers to book travel to 10 US-based destinations served by Qatar Airways, such as Boston, New York, and Dallas. The expanded codeshare agreement will allow passengers traveling with the Malaysian flag carrier to travel to 20 more destinations in Europe, America, and Africa. WASHINGTON:  Boeing recorded net orders for just 54 planes in 2019, the lowest number in at least two decades. The figure compares with 893 orders in the previous year. At the same time, deliveries fell by 53 percent to 380 planes, the lowest number since 2007. Deliveries were largely composed of the 787 Dreamliner, of which 158 were handed over. MANAMA: Gulf Air has revealed a new addition to its 2020 network with a popular premium leisure destination: Nice on the Cote d’Azur in France, commencing from July. BRUSSELS: Due to the implementation of the Updated Schengen Visa Code, adopted by the EU Council in June 2019, all representative missions of the Schengen Countries located abroad are obliged to apply the new rules.
