MONTEREAL: Airline body IATA is warning the travel industry to be on the lookout for fraudulent emails. It said crooks have been contacting users of IATA products and services by email or telephone under false names seeking payment for products or services and/or claiming payments for outstanding amounts due. Fraudsters use email addresses similar to an IATA email address but using different domain names such as @gmail.com or @iattafinance.org, it said. WASHINGTON: Boeing has predicted a “mid-2020” return to service for the 737 Max, months later than anticipated. Trading was halted in Boeing shares following release of the news, with the price having fallen five per cent earlier. ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet has waived off non-conformance charges that were levied on AirSial, a Sialkot-based airline after it failed to acquire the Air Operation Certificate (AOC) within the stipulated time of two years and gave a go-ahead to the newly-launched airline to start operations.
