KARACHI: Turkish Airlines Pakistan recently honoured the most productive and well performing travel agents of Karachi for 2017 by giving shields and Awards to them. The function was arranged at Pearl continental Hotel Karachi.

Mr. Fatih Atacan TEMEL, General Manager-Pakistan, Turkish Airlines, and his team greeted the guests upon their arrival. He highly appreciated the support of all the travel agents in his welcome address and said that Turkish Airlines has achieved 34.5% increase in revenue from Pakistan in 2017 while seat occupancy has increased 5%. He said these impressive figures are achieved by dedication and hard work of Turkish Airlines team and the by the support of all travel agents.
His Excellency Tolga UCAK, Consul General of Turkey in Karachi said in his address that more than 77,000 Pakistanis visited Turkey in year 2017 and it was all due the friendly visa policy of Turkish government towards Pakistan and the aggressive marketing by Turkish Airlines.
Earlier Mr. Agha Husain Ahmed, Sales Manager-Pakistan Turkish Airlines said that the Turkish Airlines serves 120 countries with over 300 destinations and destination wise Turkish airlines is the world No. 1 airline. The airline has also been awarded ‘Best Airline in Europe’ several times.
Mr. Yahya Polani, Chairman Polani’s, and Sardar Rafiq Khan, Group Chairman Bukhari’s also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the dedication and hard work of Mr. Fatih and his marketing team. Lastly, top performing travel agents were awarded and Bukhari Travel clinched the top award.
