PIA Further Reduces | Domestic Flight Fares

KARACHI: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Friday, September 4, announced that the fares for domestic flights have further been reduced.

According to a PIA spokesperson, reduced fares have been introduced for flights between Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.

As per the new package announced for flights between Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore, the airline has fixed Rs7,400 for the one-way ticket along with 20 kilogrammes cargo weight, whereas, Rs13,500 would be charged for the two-way ticket from the passenger travelling to the aforesaid route along with 20kg cargo weight.

Meanwhile, Rs8,400 will be charged for a one-way ticket along with 35kg weight and Rs15,000 would be the fare for two-way ticket along with 35kg cargo weight. The new fares have been enforced with immediate effect, said the PIA spokesperson.

Earlier on August 21, the PIA had reduced its domestic fares on domestic flights.

“The one-way fare for Lahore-Islamabad has been fixed at Rs7,879. Only hand-carry luggage will be allowed for the passengers availing the discounted facility,” the spokesperson had said. It was added that the fare for the trip with freight of goods weighing up to 35kg has been fixed at Rs8,543.
