KARACHI: Pakistan Hotels Association annual elections were held during July to September, 2019 and Election Results were announced at its 55th Annual General Meeting held on September 30, 2019 at Karachi Marriott Hotel. Mr. Zubair Baweja an entrepreneur in hospitality industry has extensive experience in management and operations after completing his MBA followed by number of courses in hospitality management operations from various leading institutes globally. Working in various roles in operations and management to lead Regent Plaza Hotel in the capacity of Managing Director. He is Executive Committee Member of FPCCI, Chairman FPCCI Standing Committee on Hotels and remained Senior Vice Chairman of PHA.

Mr. Gardezi being a certified Management and Hospitality professional from Cornell School of Hotel Administration, USA is working as Chief Operating Officer, Hospitality Division for Hashoo Hotels and CEO of Hotel One (Pvt.) Limited. Hashoo Group owns and operates Marriott and Pearl-Continental Hotels in Luxury segment and Hotel Ones’ in the select service segment. He introduced the concept of Franchise management in limited Service lodging facility in Pakistan under the brand name of Hotel One by Pearl-Continental and heads the largest national network of such facility of Hotel Ones’.

Mr. Ameen Lakhani having diversified experience of 35 years in hospitality and other sectors including manufacturing is associated with Serena Hotels in Pakistan as Corporate Director Finance Operations for Serena hotel properties located in South and Central Asia.
Mr. Rehan Faiz Pirzada

Mr. Rehan Faiz Pirzada currently working as a Cluster General Manager for Karachi Marriott Hotel and PC Hotel Gwadar, is a seasoned hotelier having more than 25 years of experience in hospitality industry. He has been associated with Hashoo Group of Hotels serving in various senior management positions and renovation projects. He was General Manager, PC Hotel Karachi, PC Lahore and PC Gwadar in various management positions and achieved many international awards for Karachi Marriott Hotel.
