KARACHI: It was a proud and historic occasion forthe tourism industry of Pakistan at a world forum in the city of Gangneung, Republic of South Korea when Chairman PATA Pakistan Chapter, Lt. Col. [R] Akbar Ali Shareef received Pacific Asia Travel Association’s prestigious ‘Award of Merit’ which acknowledges extraordinary leadership and support to Pakistan Tourism together with PATA.
Earlier on 17th September 2017 in Macao the PATA Honours Committee unanimously agreed at PATA board meeting to recommend Mr. Akbar Ali Shareef, Chairman PATA Pakistan-Chapter & Managing Director and Chief Executive Rakaposhi Tours to be the recipient of the ‘Award of Merit’.
