HONG KONG: Hong Kong is dropping its ban on flights from nine countries. From April 1, flights from the UK, US, India Australia, Canada, France, Nepal, Pakistan and the Philippines can be reinstated, Chief Executive Carrie Lam said.
Flights from these countries were banned earlier this year due to the Omicron wave. In addition, the government will shorten quarantine requirements from 14 to 7 days for vaccinated Hong Kong residents returning from overseas.
