TOULOUSE: Airbus has delivered easyJet’s first A320neo, which is also the airline’s 300th A320 Family aircraft, at a ceremony in Toulouse involving Carolyn McCall, easyJet CEO, Gaël Méheust, CFM international CEO, Tom Enders, Airbus CEO, and other senior executives. The aircraft, powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines, is configured in a comfortable 186 seat layout. LONDON: Heathrow airport is currently experiencing a baggage systems failure at Terminals 3 and 5, with passengers being advised to pack essentials in hand luggage. KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the commencement of mobile apps and online check-in facility for its passengers. The airlines’ passengers will now be able to book their tickets online, give feedback and also check-in through the PIA website or mobile apps prior to arrival at the airport. The service is currently valid for domestic operations only and that too limited to flights between Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
