DUBAI: India and UAE are working on a new agreement and policy for the bilateral air services by virtue of that agreement travel between the both countries may become more affordable and accessible. Air France announced it will be the Official Airline of the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that global passenger traffic data for June showed that demand for flights rose by 7.8% compared with the same period last year. This was in line with the 7.7% growth recorded in May, with all regions reporting growth for the period. The fast-growing Middle Eastern carriers saw a decline in passenger traffic growth levels during the month of June, according to the latest figures from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Growth across the region was pegged at 2.5 percent during the sixth month of the year, compared to 3.7 percent during the previous month, with challenges in the American market the main catalyst for slowing growth.
