The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) released a data report last week detailing the world’s fastest growing tourism cities – and they’re not what you’d expect. The top ten are all located in Asia, and the top five cities for tourism are all in China, showing that Asian cities are completely ahead of everyone else when it comes to tourism growth, especially over the next 10 years. ADDIS ABABA: Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines have celebrated the delivery of the carrier’s first Boeing 787-9. Ethiopian is leasing the Dreamliner through an agreement with AerCap. Ethiopian’s newest 787 touched down in Addis Ababa following a non-stop 8,354-mile flight from Boeing’s Everett, Washington, facility. The airline becomes the first carrier in Africa to operate the 787-9 and extends a tradition of setting aviation milestones.
