LONDON: Travelport, the leading travel commerce platform, announced today that it has won a competitive tender process undertaken by Air India for the sole provision of distribution of its domestic flight content in the airline’s home market. LONDON: British citizens travelling to Saudi Arabia will soon be eligible for multiple-entry visit visas valid for up to five years, says a statement from Fragomen, a global immigration practice. This comes as a result of an approved memorandum of understanding between the governments of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom that aims at facilitating the issuance of visit visas to citizens of both countries travelling for tourism, business, family visit or medical treatment it said. The new law will come into force once all necessary legal procedures have been completed by the contracting parties, the advisory said.

MADRID: International tourist numbers grew 6.0 per cent in the first half of 2018, with southern Europe and Southeast Asia posting the biggest growth, due to the upturn in the global economy, the UN World Tourism Organization said on Wednesday (Oct 10). GILGIT: A seven-member Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) expert team arrived here on Tuesday and started initial work on the reconstruction and renovation of the long neglected and dilapidated Chilas airfield as the airstrip was crucial for construction of Diamer-Bhasha Dam. KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines intends to dry lease two more Airbus A320s in the first quarter of 2019.
