LONDON: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will run Sialkot-London-Sialkot from 10th of September this year; it is said in an official statement of PIA. ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan is working on a plan to outsource the airport management system of Pakistan, in order to improve international terminals. Prime Minister Imran Khan had sought a briefing from the Aviation Division on outsourcing the management system, the sources told. Officials said that the existing plight of the airports, especially international terminals, was critical, as it gave a deserted look compared to other international cities. Now, the government wants to work on a comprehensive policy to improve international airports involving all stakeholders and technical experts. LONDON: Britain could soon be sending tourists into orbit after the UK Space Agency began drafting regulations to allow human launches from spaceports in Cornwall and the Scottish Highlands. DOHA: Qatar Airways and GE Aviation signed multiple agreements for GE engines. As part of the agreements, Qatar Airways selected the GEnx engine to power its 30 new Boeing 787-9 aircraft along with a TrueChoice Flight Hour agreement to cover the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of the engines.
