KARACHI: The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has conducted a Full Scale Airport Emergency Exercise 2019 at Jinnah International Airport recently. According to the organisers, the purpose of the exercise was to test the response level of all the concerned agencies working at the airport in accordance with the Crisis and Emergency Response Plan (CERP) in case of any accident / incident. CAIRO: EgyptAir has taken delivery of the first of 12 A220-300 aircraft on order, becoming the first A220 operator based in the Middle East and North African region. MULTAN: Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) has started executing a Rs 62.5 million scheme to upgrade facilities at its resort to facilitate tourists at Fort Monroe, the only hill station of South Punjab. ISTANBUL: Turkish Airlines has begun operating one of its first Boeing 787-9 aircraft on its route between London Heathrow and Istanbul. The carrier is set to receive 30 Dreamliners over the next four years.
