QUETTA: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), on Friday, August 6, resumed its flight operation from Quetta to Peshawar after a span of 12 years.
According to the details, Balochistan Parliamentary Secretary for Information Ms. Bushra Rind inaugurated the ceremony of resummation flights.
While addressing the occasion, she said resuming flights between Quetta and Peshawar not only facilitates people of both provinces but also promotes tourism and trade activities.
Earlier on Sunday, July 25, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) commenced its direct flight from Multan to Skardu.
According to the airlines’ spokesman, PIA was now operating flights to Skardu from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Multan.
Sharing his views at the launch of the flight, PIA CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik said with these six major connections, passengers from international destinations could easily visit tourist spots in the country, subject to easing down of Covid-19 restrictions.
