LAHORE: TDCP has accorded the vision of Punjab Government in promoting tourism and its socio-economic benefits to the society. In this connection, recently TDCP encouraged private sector to join hands to develop the skill of the youth in order to meet the requirements of capacity building and subsequent employment.

An international food chain (McDonalds) principally agreed to provide internship facilities and temporary jobs likely to be confirmed on performance basis to the students of Diplomas & Culinary Art Certificates of TDCP-Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management (ITHM). A formal MoU was signed on Friday, 26 May. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the higher management of McDonalds, MD-TDCP, Mr. Ahmer Mallick, General Manager Operations, Asjad Ghani, General Manager Admin, Farhat Jabeen, Principal ITHM and large number of students and TDCP Officers.
TDCP marketing team has played a vital role in bringing both prestigious organizations closer to accommodate the skilled youth in their respective fields.
The CPO McDonalds assured to keep the spirit up in extending cooperation in future while giving his vote of thanks. Managing Director TDCP also thanked and welcomed McDonald’s team management in providing socio-economic opportunity in hospitality industry. He also said hopefully this cooperation will continue in future.
