KARACHI: Hitit visited Quetta, the provincial capital and largest city of the Pakistani province of Balochistan in Pakistan, on 7-10 March 2022. The PIA Quetta District Manager and Passenger Sales Manager also participated in this visit, and a conference was held with important Passenger Sales Agents, Virtual Agents and IATA BSP Certified Agents owners of the province. After the conference, Hitit also organized three days of training for its Crane Acent Portal Plus solution.

Hitit continues to keep strong ties with Pakistan’s agencies and provide training to them. One of the best examples of this happened on March 7-10, 2022. PIA’s Quetta District Manager and Passenger Sales Manager participated in these high-level visits, and a large conference was organized with the agencies in Quetta. Rehman Tours & Travel, Noahisar Travel & Tours (PVT) Ltd, Manan Travels, Travel Times, Shaz Travel & Tours, Saleem Tours and Travel (PVT), Speedy Travel (PVT), and Kozak Travel (PVT) attended the conference. At the conference meeting, any issues or challenges the agencies had were listened to and solutions were discussed.

This visit of Hitit had another significance. In Quetta, a province of Pakistan where other companies visit less frequently, Hitit provided special training to the agencies over three days. Hitit gave a class on its state-of-the-art technology solution, the Hitit Crane Agent Portal Plus Training. The training was for both user and admin staff from these agencies. After the successful training, all participants were certified with Hitit’s Globally Recognized Certification.
Hitit assured the agencies of constant support for them, and to the PIA staff the commitment to promoting PIA in Pakistan. Moreover, Hitit certified the staff from the top agencies in Quetta, bringing a sense of confidence and professionalism to the staff in their use of the Crane Agent Portal Plus platform, which we hope to see in terms of increased sales in the coming days as the travel market rebounds.
Expressing that the Quetta visit was very meaningful for them, Gamze Basar, Sales & Channel Management Coordinator at Hitit said: “This visit was important for both Hitit and the travel ecosystem in Quetta, one of the largest cities on the border of the country. Our visit was planned to get the maximum coverage for our travel agent network there. Previously, during the first year of the pandemic, we had connected with them remotely. Now, we have resumed our face-to-face meetings, and Quetta was our first station to meet the valuable PIA staff and top travel agencies. We have prioritized all the cities where PIA operates because we support the travel agents all over Pakistan with 24/7 support and dedicated training programs. Hitit’s Quetta visit demonstrated that Hitit is everywhere in Pakistan.”
