LAHORE: Waqas Anjum has Joined Travel Management Company (TMC) Matchless Lufthansa City Center & Successfully started his First Retail Office in DHA Y Block, Phase 3, Lahore. Earlier he was associated with M/S Faremakers – Travel Channel as a Group Head for seven long years.
Talking to Holiday Weekly he said that Matchless Group is very renowned and professional Organization in Pakistan and it has a great leverage of international Company Structure such as Matchless Canada and have chain of offices in all major Cities in Pakistan like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan & Peshawar.
“ I’ve been in travel trade for last 7 years because I’m a people person and enjoy consumer business to helping them out with their travel plans” he added.
He said we know that Travelers want the best value for their money and a responsive Company with good management who take care the traveler throughout the Journey. Further He Said we are providing Best Customer Services to our Corporate and Retail Customers and Available 24/7 for their travel needs.
He introduced that we are not just a Corporate Travel Management Company & Retail Business but we have different Airline’s PSA & GSAs. One of our biggest revenue earners is corporate travel, but we are also very strong in the Leisure Sector, particularly with our outbound holiday’s division, The Holiday Company, which has really come on leaps and bounds in the past seven to eight years.
Very importantly he said that if we talk about the quality of the Travel Business, it needs to enforce some minimum standards/regulations for travel companies by Department of Tourism Services (DTS) which is already have but few agencies not followed. Such as if you don’t do something that you promised the consumer, they should be reimbursed. This would happen if you set minimum requirements and it would generate quality Agencies and Tour Operators in Pakistan.
