KARACHI: The Commissioner Karachi, Mr. Iftikhar Shallwani has urged upon children to inculcate themselves in extra -curricular activities for their physical growth and strong skills with their learning habits. This, he said while distributing certificates among children’s of Kids Summer Festival held at Beach Luxury Hotel [from June 10 to July 7, 2019] here.
The Commissioner also stressed upon the parents to allow their children to participate in such healthy activities in their holidays for their further building the physical growth and extra-curricular activities. While appreciating the Parents that they are encouraging their children’s to participate in summer festival and has set a good habit and trend to facilitate them for their further capacity building and skills at all level with the curricular activities. He assured that all such healthy activities would be encouraged and promoted at every level in the city for peaceful atmosphere as the city has been on the path of progress and peace, Karachi city, once again is the city of peace and the lights he added.
He also lauded the efforts of the hotel management to hold such activity for the promotion of the students skills in summer vacations and provide appropriate platform for healthy activities.
Earlier Corporate Director Sales Avari Hotels, GM, Beach Luxury Hotel M. Azeem Qureshi, highlighted the salient features of the Kids Summer Festival, said that total 26 children are participating in various skills and the festival including Swimming and karate and displayed their skills and capabilities with the support of their parents. Later the Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani presented/distributed certificate and gifts among 26 children.
