KARACHI: Kenya airways have conducted training for all its sales staff on the new reservations system being deployed at all stations.
The airline is moving from Altéa Reservation Desktop Classic (cryptic version) to Altéa Reservation Desktop Web (graphic version) as part of Amadeus project to optimize and modernize systems. The new reservation platform has more intuitive navigation and user interface that is not just user friendly and can also be accessed from any remote location through the internet.
This new generation system is more advanced, built to improve the efficiency and productivity of airline agents across reservations, sales and customer service.
Over 25,000 airline agents are now using ARD Web all over the world with over 37 airlines already migrated to this platform.
