BOSTON: This is the winning design for a new memorial in Boston dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr. and his wife Coretta Scott King. The 22-foot bronze sculpture, “The Embrace,” is set to be unveiled in 2020. Members of King Boston, an organization established to commemorate the Kings, said the design’s interlocking hands will allow people to walk underneath them, focusing on an “act rather than the individual.”
