RIYADH: Saudi low-cost carrier flynas has announced the launch of new flights from Riyadh to New Delhi, which started from July 1.
The addition of this new destination serves flynas’ global expansion strategy to extend its geographic reach to meet passengers’ travel needs.
The new Riyadh-New Delhi service will operate five times weekly and in October, it will be upgraded to daily flights. The carrier has also boosted frequency from the Saudi Arabian capital city to Hyderabad in India, from two to four weekly flights, as part of efforts to cater to the growing demand of Indian passengers.
A special ceremony held to mark the launch of the new service and was attended by Saudi Arabia’s deputy head of mission to India, Tareq Rashwan, as well as a delegation from India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation and representatives of flynas in India, with a number of Saudi and Indian media personnel also present.
The new direct flights will take off from King Khalid International Airport to New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
