PESHAWAR: Under the “Discover the faces of Pakistan” project, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) and OPPO have joined hands to explore and highlight the tourism potential, cultural heritage, and historic sites through different initiatives, including publicity via social media platform, in the province.

The project is aimed at highlighting portrait photography and capture national sentiments and tell the unique story of people in Pakistan.

Besides other activities, the KPCTA and OPPO arranged a weeklong tour for the famed content creators and journalists, including Anum Hakim, Khaula Jamil, Amjad, Irfan Junejo, Akram Ali, Danish Khan, Adeel Chisti, Art by Wasif, and others to the scenic Chitral district.

The content creators and journalists were taken to the scenic spots in Chitral so they could closely watch the indigenous Kalash culture, history, and tourist and historic places and introduce them to the world through social media platforms.

The KPCTA is providing accommodation to the content creators in camping pods in Kalash during their weeklong stay in the district.

The bloggers would visit Kalash, Broon, Batrak, Anish, Kakral valleys, museum, Chitral Fort, Shahi Masjid, Shandur Polo Ground, embroidery items, Markhor Point, Birr Moglasht, hand-made goods, Kalash culture, historic abodes and others and all these would be captured through the lens of camera and display them via social media platform.

The content creators and the OPPO company have over 43 million followers.
