KARACHI:  Last week Mr.  Ahmed Zahoor, General Manager-Pakistan  Etihad Airways hosted travel trade partners dinner at Movenpick Hotel Karachi to celebrate the 18th Anniversary of Etihad Airways flights to Pakistan. On 2nd November 2004, the first flight of Etihad airways landed at Jinnah International Airport Karachi.

The Seniors of the travel trade industry of Karachi responded to the invitation of Mr. Ahmed Zahoor including, Muhammad Rafiq Khan (Chairman of Bukhari Group), Muhammad Dochki (FRG Group CEO) and  Muhammad Naeem Sharif (Convener, of the Travel & Tourism Committee of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries-FPCCI)  making the event a  very impressive evening.

Etihad Airways, the Abu Dhabi-based airline that started operations globally in 2003 and entered Pakistan’s market a year later, considers the South Asian country as an integral part of its network. It flies to three key destinations in Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

The air carrier sees a lot of potential for air travel to and from Pakistan. Important international segments are the Middle East, North America, and Europe, particularly the UK where Pakistanis travel frequently. Etihad Airways believes that Pakistani travelers are discerning and demanding and that is why the airline ensures that superior services are provided at all levels.
