FRANKFURT: The ‘eHighway’ project, which sees hybrid trucks powered via overhead lines for the first time on a public Autobahn in Germany, launched on Tuesday, 7th May. The 5km test track went into operation on the A5 between Langen/Mörfelden and Weiterstadt, south of Frankfurt, reported the Hessenschau. LAHORE: Salam Air was launched in 2016 as the second carrier of Sultanate of Oman. Its flight operation started in May 2017 from Pakistan with three stations: Sialkot, Multan and Karachi. ALMATY: FlyArystan, the world’s newest low fare, high-quality airline from Kazakh flag carrier Air Astana, takes to the skies today, for its first revenue flights from Almaty International Airport. The airline starts with six domestic routes, with journey times from one to three hours to Taraz; Shymkent; Pavlodar; Uralsk; Nur-Sultan (Astana) and Karaganda.
