KARACHI: The national flag-carrier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), has announced the record number of promotions of 1,000 flight attendants as it was the highest-ever figure in the history citing past records. Sources said that the large-scale promotions were made for the first time in history in Flight Services Department of the national flag-carrier as more than 600 flight attendants were promotion to Grade 4 to Grade 5, whereas, more than 90 attendants were promoted to Group 6 from Grade-5. LONDON: Gatwick has published a new five-year capital investment programme which highlights more investment in automation and technology as an enabler of sustainable growth. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suffered a loss of Rs1.8 trillion over the past 11 years. During that period, the PIA management faced political interference, ‘unjust’ re-routing of flights, manipulation of activities by trade unions and use of flights by heads of state and government. The Cities are Bratislava-Slovakia, Breda- Netherlands, Bremerhaven-Germany, Gothenburg-Sweden, Karlsruhe-Germany, Ljubljana- Slovenia, Málaga-Spain, Nice-France, Ravenna-Italy and Torino-Italy.
