NEW YORK: ‘StarLinks PR & Events’ that was named a finalist in the Company/Organization awards category in the 14th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, has won the Bronze Stevie Award.
More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. StarLinks PR & Events had been declared a finalist in the Startup of the year- Business Service Industries category, last month.
The Stevie Awards, hailed as the world’s premier business awards announced Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners at a gala event at Marriott Marquis Hotel, New York.
The Finalists were chosen by more than 170 professionals worldwide serving on five specialized judging committees. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the USA and several other countries were in attendance.
Ms. Shanaz Ramzi, CEO of STARLINKS, launched her career in 1994 as a freelance journalist. She joined the biggest entertainment television network of Pakistan, HUM Network as Head of PR and Publications in October 2004 and was with the organization till October 31, 2015, as the GM of these two departments, and was also the editor of all their publications including their two monthlies. She launched her own company STARLINKS PR, a PR and Event Management Company on November 1, 2015, and was engaged on retainer by high-powered clients from the 5th of the month. Within a short span of two years she has taken her company to great achievements, and has successfully carried out many prestigious and high-profile events, both nationally and internationally.
