SereneAir Commences | Domestic Flights From May 16

KARACHI: SereneAir has commenced Domestic flight operations in Pakistan from Saturday, 16th May on a limited scale. SereneAir under complete COVID-19 guidelines and strict SOP’s issued by CAA was the first to operate the domestic flight ER502 from Karachi to Islamabad. The sectors approved for SereneAir to operate are KHI, LHE, ISB, PEW & UET.

Earlier the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Friday, May 15, announced that domestic flights will resume operations from May 16. In view of the difficulties being faced by in travelling between major cities in Pakistan, the Federal Government has allowed limited domestic flight operation from five major airports namely Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar from 16th May, 2020.

Minister for Aviation Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Khan has announced the same and said that Aviation Division has prepared very strict SOPs disinfection, social distancing and safety for the airline crew and passengers. Initially PIA and Serene Air started the operation.
