RAWALPINDI: A meeting of Board of Directors of Associated Hotel of Pakistan was held under the Chairmanship of Managing Director, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), Ch. Abdul Ghafoor Khan at PTDC Head Office, Rawalpindi.
The Manager, Flashman’s Hotel briefed the meeting about performance, upgradation, and face uplifting of the hotel. The Chairman, Board of Directors informed that work of face lifting of hotel is being carried out. A proposal for construction of prefabricated glass restaurant, handicraft, coffee shops and upgradation of rooms of the hotel is under consideration. The Board of Directors appreciated and accorded its approval.
On this occasion the Managing Director, PTDC and Chairman, Board of Directors said that international standard facilities may be provided to the domestic and foreign tourists. The Chairman, Board of Directors also informed that a Sound system is being installed on which recitation of Holy Quran may be listened in the morning time in the hotel. He also informed that besides this the work of fixing of hard tiles has been started in the hotel area including roads. The Board of Directors appreciated and gave its approval.
The Board of Directors of AHP also approved Charter of Demands of Flashman’s Hotel Employees Union from April, 2017. The employees of Hotel were grateful to the Chairman, AHP. The Members of Board appreciated the steps being taken by the Chairman, Board of Directors of AHP Ch. Abdul Ghafoor Khan for promotion of tourism, betterment and face uplifting of the hotel. The meeting was attended by Mr. Alamgir Khan, Director AHP, Mr. Ali Akbar Malik, GM (Audit), Mr. Ejaz Ali, Manager (P&A), PTDC, Mr. Ashfaq Lothar, Manager Flashman’s, Mr. Muhammad Inayat, Project Engineer and Mr. Adil Zaidi, Manager Accounts PTDC.
