ISTANBUL: During the recent Hitit Partner’s Event in Istanbul, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) executives honored Ms. Nur Gökman, the former CEO of Hitit, with a commemorative plaquette. The gesture recognized her exceptional leadership and steadfast support in driving PIA’s digital transformation journey, which began in 2018 when the airline first partnered with Hitit. Ms. Gökman, who is currently the Chairwoman of Hitit’s Board of Directors, has been instrumental in advancing the technological growth and modernization of PIA.

The appreciation shown by PIA underscores the valuable collaboration between the two companies, a partnership that has grown steadily and contributed to PIA’s digital growth and success. This act of goodwill and gratitude not only celebrated Ms. Gökman’s impactful leadership but also expressed a shared hope for the continuity of this close relationship under Hitit’s new CEO, Ms. Nevra Onursal Karaağaç.

“Hitit and PIA share a deep mutual respect and a vision for progress and innovation. We are grateful to PIA for honoring Ms. Gokman’s efforts, and we look forward to continuing our work with PIA to drive forward their digital transformation,” stated Ms. Nevra Onursal Karaagac, the new CEO of Hitit.

Ms. Karaağac, who has been with Hitit in senior leadership roles prior to assuming the CEO position, is committed to building on this partnership with PIA, further strengthening the ties that have contributed to mutual success over the past several years. Hitit remains dedicated to providing PIA with cutting-edge, innovative solutions and supporting its long-term growth objectives.
