MUSCAT: In alignment with Oman Air’s commitment to the objectives of Oman’s 2040 Vision, the airline’s management, represented by the Transformation Office, has announced the signing of 21 Omani cadets as part of its Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) programme.
Joining as Second Officers, the cadets will undergo comprehensive training at Oman Air’s state-of-the-art Flight Training Centre, specializing in the operation of Boeing 737 aircraft, before they are able to earn their official pilot’s license from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). It’s the latest in a number of pilot training programmes Oman Air has engaged in over the years as part of several government partnerships.
