KARACHI: From the 16th to 19th August 2018 Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi hosted ‘Lahori food festival’ at Chandni Restaurant. Known to celebrate the different Provinces and cities of Pakistan, PC chose to celebrate Lahore which is known for its vibrant culture, bhangra beats and is famous for its diverse variety in food.

Chandni Restaurant is known around the nation for serving their customers traditional and authentic Pakistani dishes with a live cooking station. Renowned and experience chefs of PC Kadishesrachi thoughtfully selected the most popular Lahori and cooked them with the utmost authenticity. An extensive buffet was displayed which included Lahori Mutton Karahi, Lahori Chargha , Phajjay Ke Paye, Tandoori Murgh , Chatpata Tawa Gosht, Lahori Tawa Machli, Dal Mukhani, Sarson Ka Saag , Magaz Masala, Mukhni Chicken Handi,Lahori Seekh Kabab, Lahori Chicken Tika Boti and many more. Live Punjabi instrumental music was playing in the background and since Chandni is located on the top floor, the roof-top city view was providing the customers with an impeccable view making it a perfect ambiance along with which an excellent service was provided resulting in it being a memorable dining experience.
The main purpose of the Lahori food festival was to cater and provide food lovers and especially Lahori food lovers of the city with a vast variety of authentic and delicious Lahori cuisine and ensured this by using the finest ingredients, packing each dish with flavor and cooking it to perfection.
Mr. Yuji Takarada, Vice Chairman Indus Motor Company Karachi inaugurated the festival along with Mr. Aslam Khan, Hotel Manager and Ms. Laila Farah Naz, Marcom Manager of Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi.
