First Direct Non-Stop Flight To Kuala Lumpur Takes Off From Karachi Jinnah International Airport

Batikair Malaysia have started direct/non-stop flights between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur with effect from Saturday, 18th NOV 2023.  Batikair Malaysia have been successfully operating daily direct/non-stop services between Lahore & Kuala Lumpur since 2016 (previously operated under the brand name of Malindo Air)

The aircraft was welcomed by Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan, Ministry of Aviation with Water Canon Salute. The flight arrived on time at 07:45pm and was received by Chairman KW Group Mr. Shakil Aftab Kashmirwala (GSA Batikair Pakistan) Civil Aviation Authority officials, Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi Mr. Herman Hardynata Ahmad, Mr. Saleem Ahmed, Head of KW Group Marketing, Mr. Faisal Abdul Quadir, G. M. Sales KW Group and Ground handling Staff.

Batikair Malaysia (OD) will operate three flights initially from Karachi. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The flight would depart from Karachi at 08:45pm and arrive Kuala Lumpur (KLIA1) at 05:50am.  These flights would have immediate connection in both directions to all Malaysian domestic points, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea etc.. Batikair current fleet size stands at 45 including B737max and A330 and it has become fastest growing airline of Malaysia. This makes Batikair Malaysia the only direct/non-stop operator between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur.

According to Mr. Kashmirwala Malaysia is one of the few countries which offers Online E-Visa facility to Pakistani Nationals and opening up this route by Batikair Malaysia would further strengthen bilateral Tourism, Trade and Investment between Pakistan and Malaysia.
