Last week the Pearl Continental Karachi presented the Chandni Mela Food Festival. Chandni restaurant itself is known around the nation for serving succulent traditional and authentic Pakistani dishes with a live BBQ, instrumental music and a backdrop of the breath taking roof-top city view providing their customers with an impeccable ambiance.
The Event started off with an official ribbon cutting ceremony, by Mr. Rehan Faiz Pirzada – GM Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi amongst other Senior Management Officials, followed by dinner. Chandni Mela 2017 was inaugurated on the evening of 21st of April 2017 at Chandni Restaurant.
During the Chandni Mela an extensive range of ethereal dishes were offered from distinct and diverse communities which have adopted Karachi as their home over the past 100 years. In the Mela there was a buffet of famous dishes from Hyderabad, Gujrat, Dehli, South India and Chinyot and delectable delights from the Memon community and Vegetable Thali’s with a variety of bhajis and various other options.
The main purpose of the festival was to cater and provide food lovers of all preferences and tastes across the city with a vast variation of authentic and delicious South Asian cuisine and ensured this by using the finest ingredients, packing each dish with flavor and cooking it to perfection along with an excellent service resulting in a memorable dining experience.
