KARACHI: After the successful event of Celebrity Premier League and DCL now Triangle Media and Plannerz Media Pvt. Ltd has taken the initiative for another celebrity cricket league under the banner of CCL Club Pvt. Ltd at National Stadium Karachi on 3rd October – 7th October 2022. The Event’s main purpose is to come forward and raise funds for the cause “Floods in Pakistan” along with Pakistani celebrities and X Cricket players.
Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar is the President and Javed Sheikh is the Ambassador of the league. Where Kamran Ishtiaq is the CEO, Qaiser Mughal, Umer Rafique and Farooq are the Directors of CCL Club. All gateway money and 15% revenue generated during the league matches will be donated for the welfare of flood affected people in Pakistan. Together we can stand for each other in these hard times is the main moto of CCL Club.
At the same time the celebrities will showcase their cricket skills and give the audience a sight of thrilling run chase to compete and finish at top. CCL will be contested by 6 teams comprising of film, drama actors, anchors, and politicians, which will mainly present 6 major regions of Pakistan (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Quetta and Peshawar) with team captains Faisal Qureshi, Asim Raza, Humayyun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa and Saleem Sheikh. It is a 5-day event. The matches will be played between 4 pm to 12:00 am. Expected opening will be done by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Zafar and Aima Baig.
Celebrity Cricket League is very important event to raise funds from business community and civil l society for supporting the people who have lost their lives, belonging, houses and crops due to unparalleled flood. Chairman ABAD Hanif Memon was joined the press conference along-with Ammassador of CCL Javed Sheikh, CEO – CCL Kamran Ishtiaq, Director – CCL Umer Rafiq & Qaiser Mughal.
Team coach are Umair Akmal, Kamran Akmal, Imran Nazir, Abdul Rahman, Fawad Alam,yasir Hameed & Team Ambassadors Neelum Munir, Zara Noor, Hania Amir, Hira Mani, Sarah Khan & Hajra yamin. All team of CCL are working to supports effective people of Pakistan with floods.
