DUBAI: Emirates progressed on its recovery path in 2021, rebuilding its passenger network to 128 cities by December including a new route to Miami launched in July. SIALKOT: AirSial, Pakistan’s third private airline on Friday, December 31, has kicked off its international flight operations. As per details, the first chartered flight of AirSial with 162 passengers on board took off from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International airport for Dubai. ISLAMABAD: PIA, the national flag carrier of Pakistan will be flying to Europe in the first quarter of 2022, after getting clearance from the international aviation auditor, revealed PIA CEO Arshad Malik. LONDON: A new analysis of staff shortages by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has revealed 205,000 travel and tourism jobs across the UK predicted to remain unfilled by the end of this year. The worrying figures from WTTC, which represents the global private travel and tourism, shows for the first time the enormous impact staff shortages could have on the UK’s economic recovery.
