ABU DHABI: Etihad Airways announced that it will start flying its A380 double-decker to New York JFK from April 22, 2024. The introduction of the A380 marks a significant enhancement to Etihad’s capacity in the crucial US market, connecting to the broader GCC and Indian subcontinent. KARACHI: The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) team has arrived in Karachi on November 26 to conduct an audit of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), likely paving the way for the national flag carrier to begin flight operation for Britain and Europe. ISLAMABAD: The government on Thursday, November 23, bifurcated the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), creating a separate Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) in pursuant of a parliamentary decision, according to a notification issued by the aviation ministry.
