KARACHI: Marriott Hotel displayed a classic vintage car for vintage car lovers. The car exhibited is a four door Humber Pullman Limousine Mark III version, Six cylinders, 4080 cc. was introduced by British Humber Company in 1951 the same length as the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, Ordered by ruling prince of India named: Gen. His Highness Al-Haj Amir Sir Sadiq Mohammad Abbasi, The Ameer of Bahawalpur.
His Highness was a direct descendent of the Abbasid Khalifat of Baghdad and Cairo.
The vehicle has been a part of visits to Bahawalpur by Field Marshal Ayub Khan (on this occasion in photograph is on display). It has remained in the same family for the last 70 years.
A central partition between the chauffeur and passenger’s cabin is also in place, made of black smoked glass.
