TPL Insurance & Global e-Commerce | A Strategic Agreement Signed

KARACHI:  TPL Insurance Limited – An insurance company with the heritage of providing innovative insurance solutions and the only insurance company offering ‘direct settlement’ to its’ Travel Insurance customers along flexible coverage packages,    entered into a strategic agreement with Global e-Commerce,  a company providing technology solutions for the global travel industry.

Global e-Commerce is a subsidiary of TSL (Pvt) Ltd., the Company was established in 2005. The principal business of the Company is to engage and deliver E-commerce services to the Travel Industry.

The technical cooperation of TPL Insurance with Global e-Commerce will further reinforce the consumption of travel insurance in Pakistan. Under this strategic agreement, travel agencies, which rely on Global e-Commerce solutions, will have the Travel Insurance Management System to sell TPL Insurance’s ‘Travel Insurance’ directly from Travel agencies.

Chairman TPL Corp, Mr. Jameel Yusuf S.St., was also present at the ceremony along CEO TPL Insurance, Mr. Saad Nissar, CEO Global E-Commerce, Mr. Ali Naqi Taqi, Syed Athar Abbas, and Kashif Hasan from TPL Insurance, Mr. Shaheen Permani, Mr. Sabir from Global e-Commerce and others.

Following today’s signature, Mr. Saad Nissar – CEO, TPL Insurance, said: “We want TPL Travel Insurance to be easilyavailable for everyone and today’s signing helps us deliver on our promise to innovate with a customer-firststrategy.”

The alliance is another step towards TPL Insurance’s commitment to provide continuous improvements and convenience to its customers in all its processes, becoming the unparalleled insurance solutions provider in Pakistan

Commenting on the signing ceremony, Mr Ali Naqi Taqi – CEO, Global e-Commerce, said, “This partnership will leverage on mutual strengths for the benefit of the traveler.”

TPL Insurance expects significant gain from this agreement. The company also expects the alliance to be the accretive beginning towards catering the greater audience.
