KARACHI: President FPCCI, Mr. Ghazanfar Bilour has appointed Mr. Mohammad Anwar Qureshi, Chairman Ramada Hotels, as “Chairman FPCCI Standing Committee on Hotels” for the Year 2018.Mr. Anwar Qureshi has rich experience of hotel business in Pakistan & abroad and successfully running Ramada Hotels in Pakistan. He is also former Chairman of Pakistan Hotels Association and actively engaged in Associationactivities to promote hotel industry of Pakistan.
He said that withdrawal of Concessionary SRO for Hotel &Tourism Industry by former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has badly affected tourism business and his top priority will be to restore the same incentives by the government to promote hotel & tourism industry in Pakistan. It is hoped that his appointment would effectively bring positive changes for the promotion of Hospitality and Tourism Industry of Pakistan.
