FAISALABAD: Dr. Muhammad Ali Gallery is the 1st Gallery in Faisalabad of its own kind, it provides a huge space for the artist to exhibit their works. Now the artists of Faisalabad need not to go to other cities in order to exhibit and sell their works.
Ms. Tehmina Afzal Incharge, Institute of Art & Design University Faisalabad did her first solo exhibition in the Dr. Muhammad Ali Gallery. She belongs to a literary family where aesthetics have been developed in herself from the early age. Her father is an Art lover and the same love has spread its roots in her mind and heart. She did her F.A. in Fine Art from Gulberg College for woman Lahore and completed her BFA and MFA in Graphic designing the University of the Punjab.
Her experience in the field of Art & Design is more than twenty years. She started working at Rupafab Limited soon after the completion of MFA. She worked as a creative Manager Kamal group of industries, Faisalabad and from that time the doors of success are always open for her.
She also worked at the University of Faisalabad & five star textile mills Pvt. Ltd in 2007. She got the opportunity to work in a high rank GC University Faisalabad. She switched her job for university of Sargodha when circumstances have become uncertain for her but was called back soon and started working as an Incharge, institute of Art & Design in 2011 till date. Her struggle to boost up this institute unforgettable. She is working for the betterment of this institute in which four disciplines Painting, Fashion, Graphics and Textiles are flourishing under her kind guidance day by day. She has projected various landscapes of Pakistani cities which commemorates our rich eastern culture.
