KARACHI: Last week Marriott Hotel Karachi hosted a Nepalese food and cultural show. A Chef from Nepal came especially to Pakistan and prepared food using authentic recipes that gave a true taste of Nepalese food to the people of Pakistan. A worldwide renowned Nepalese musical band, Kutumba also performed during the food festival held on 7th and 8th of April.
Her Excellency Sewa Lamsal, Ambassador of Nepal along with Mr. Rehan Faiz Pirzada, Cluster General Manager Karachi Marriott Hotel Inaugurated the festival by performing ribbon cutting ceremony of Nepal Food and Cultural Festival.
The
Nepalese food festival and Kutumba musical tour
started in Islamabad from April 3rd,
7th & 8th April at Karachi Marriott Hotel and later the food festival held
in Lahore on April 10th & 11th 2019.
Kutumba, has the true essence of Nepal in its music along with the diversity of Nepalese culture. It has always been the motto of Hashoo Group to promote art and different customs and traditions from across the globe. Numerous bands and performers have come from all over the world, under the umbrella of Hashoo Group to portray their culture on the soil of Pakistan.
