RIYADH: RIYADH: Riyadh Air will commence operations to Pakistan in August 2026, marking its official entry into the Pakistani aviation market with nonstop services to Islamabad and Lahore. The airline opened bookings for both routes on July 30 and will deploy its state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on these services.
The inaugural Riyadh–Islamabad flight is scheduled for August 14, operating daily with seven weekly frequencies between the two capitals. This will be followed by the launch of Riyadh–Lahore flights on August 18, with three services per week.
The new routes are expected to significantly enhance air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, providing passengers with greater travel convenience and additional direct flight choices. The services will cater to a wide range of travelers, including business professionals, tourists, overseas Pakistanis, and pilgrims undertaking religious journeys. Riyadh Air’s expansion into Pakistan also reflects the growing demand for air travel between the two countries and is expected to further strengthen bilateral economic, tourism, and cultural ties while offering passengers a modern and comfortable travel experience aboard the airline’s latest-generation Dreamliner fleet.
