Aftab Rana, MD PTDC informed that in recent years, Pakistan’s tourism industry has witnessed noteworthy growth, demonstrating its resilience in the face of challenges posed by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) forecasts, the sector is poised to contribute 6% to the country’s GDP. This rebound follows a significant 34% contraction in tourism contribution during the height of the pandemic in 2020[1].
