Cultural Diplomacy In Action | Sindh Tourism Minister Meets US Diplomats For Tourism Talks

KARACHI: American Diplomatic Delegation Engages in Promising Talks with Provincial Minister of Tourism on Joint Tourism Promotion Efforts” In a significant step towards fostering cultural and diplomatic ties, a constructive meeting was held between the US diplomatic delegation and Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, the Provincial Minister of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities, and Archives.

The American delegation, comprising Ms. Jayne Howell, Minister Counselor for Consular Affairs at the US Embassy Islamabad, Mr. Nikhil Lakhanpal, Economic Officer, and Mr. Nitin OBEO, In-charge of Consular Affairs at the US Consulate, Karachi, convened to explore collaborative efforts in promoting the tourism sector and culture exchange programs.

 Minister Shah eloquently briefed the delegation on the rich heritage of the Indus Civilization in Sindh. As a token of appreciation and cultural exchange, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah presented Sindhi Ajrak and souvenirs to the esteemed delegation. This meeting marks a promising stride towards mutual cooperation and cultural exchange between the United States and Sindh.

Present during the meeting were Mr. Khalid Chachar, Secretary Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department, Mr. Feyaz Ali Shah, Managing Director, Sindh Tourism Development Corporation and Mr, Abdul Fattah Shaikh, Director Archeology & Antiquities.
