DUBAI: The tourism sector is estimated to have contributed over Dh150 billion ($40.8 billion) to the Dubai’s GDP (4.6 per cent of GDP) in 2017, providing almost 570,000 jobs (4.8 per cent of total employment), said a report. CAIRO: National carrier EgyptAir has announced plans to resume flights to Moscow, starting in April. The announcement comes more than two years after Russia halted flights from Egypt over security concerns, chairman of EgyptAir, Safwat Musallam, said. Starting April 12, EgyptAir will operate three flights a week to Moscow, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, with the modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
